Sugar has been hiding in thousands of foods, disguised with other names. But now you can catch it red-handed with the Lil' Sugar App.
What started as a UX oversight role turned into one of my favorite projects. Lil' Sugar, the brainchild of a creative team, was built around an original character, music video, and mobile app, aimed at tackling sugar overconsumption in kids.
I ended up going deeper than expected, designing wireframes for every screen, mapping out the full experience, and taking a pass at the website layout. The creative team ran with the UI and web design from there, using my wireframes as their foundation.
I cared enough about the idea that I kept going on my own, building out a complete version of the mobile app just to see it through.
